I forgot to mention in my Part 1 post that Melbourne is a visually very interesting city. In suburbs like Fitzroy and Brunswick, the beautiful Victorian architecture is overlaid with graffiti and street art that Melbourne has apparently decided to embrace.

Fitzroy had the added wonder of converted-warehouse apartments, including the former Rolls Royce factory where we had rented a beautiful, modern 2 bedroom.
